You must have a registered office address to receive official mail and legal notices from Companies House and HMRC. This address must be situated in the part of the UK in which you wish to register your limited company or LLP: England and Wales, Wales only (for Welsh companies), Scotland or Northern Ireland. Please ensure you provide the full postal address. PO Box numbers are not permitted.
You require providing Companies House with your new company's business activity. This is done by choosing a SIC code (Standard Industrial Classification code) which describes and classifies business activities.
Our online company formation process includes a SIC code search facility, however, you may wish to find your company's SIC code prior to starting your order, by having a look at the SIC code list.
All customers who use our address services or are forming multiple companies, require providing proof of ID and proof of address, to ensure we fulfil our obligations regarding The London Local Authorities Act, and the current Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
For address service clients, the required ID should be provided within 3 weeks of the date of your company formation or address service order.
For clients forming multiple companies, we will require your ID prior to presenting the company to Companies House.

Once you have the above information to hand, you can proceed with your new company application by following our simple 5-step registration process. Start by checking if your desired company is available at Companies House by using our company name checker. If you have any questions or require any assistance, please call 020 7470 8814.
When it comes to setting up a company, errors and omissions can be costly and time-consuming. To prevent mistakes, our formation experts conduct a thorough review of every single order before submitting it to Companies House.
